About Neurovalens

Neurovalens is a global health-tech company focused on developing non-invasive neurostimulation products to solve some of the world’s most significant health challenges. The company’s Modius technology is FDA-cleared, non-invasive, and influences the deep parts of the brain with a small and safe electrical pulse.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Creative Designer to join our team in Belfast. You will be a key creative force within Neurovalens, owning the brand across digital, print, and video channels, shaping user experience across our web presence, and producing content that communicates the science and impact of our technology to consumers, clinicians, and key stakeholders.

This is a senior, autonomous role working directly with the Head of Marketing. We are a small team, and we need someone who can take a brief and run with it, setting their own creative direction, managing their own workload, and delivering polished output without requiring close oversight.

You’ll be a trusted voice in decisions about how Neurovalens looks, feels, and communicates and your work will be highly visible from day one.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the Neurovalens brand identity, ensuring consistency across all platforms and touchpoints
  • Act as the internal guardian of visual quality and brand standards, setting the bar for all creative output.
  • Design and update web pages, landing pages, and campaign assets, and ensure that the Neurovalens website is up to date, accurate and informative.
  • Create digital marketing materials including social media graphics, email headers, display ads, and promotional banners
  • Translate campaign briefs into compelling visual content, working with third-party partners when required
  • Design and build polished, on-brand slide decks for investor presentations, sales materials, and clinical/partner briefings
  • Ensure all presentation materials reflect the professionalism and credibility expected of a regulated medical device company
  • Design print-ready materials including product packaging inserts, brochures, posters, event signage, and trade show collateral
  • Manage print production relationships and ensure quality output from external suppliers
  • Guide UX thinking across Neurovalens’s digital touchpoints, from initial user journey mapping and wireframing through to prototyping and handoff.
  • Work with the software team to ensure our medical device native smartphone app is up to date, easy to use and adhered to the Neurovalens brand and identity.
  • Design and prototype web and product interfaces in Figma, iterating based on user insight and business goals.
  • Conduct or contribute to usability reviews, ensuring our digital experience is intuitive and conversion-focused.
  • Collaborate with development partners to ensure designs are implemented accurately and to specification.

What we’re looking for

  • At least 5 years experience in a mid/senior level design and creative role.
  • A strong, diverse portfolio demonstrating excellence across UX/UI, digital, video, and print — with clear evidence of owning projects end-to-end.
  • Experience designing, maintaining and building website landing pages in the WordPress environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro or After Effects)
  • Excellent eye for typography, layout, colour, and visual storytelling across both digital and physical formats
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to present, defend, and iterate on creative decisions

Desirable

  • Experience working in a regulated industry such as medical devices, healthcare, or pharma
  • Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive design principles
  • Experience with video production / motion graphics (FCPX, After Effects or similar)
  • Photography skills or experience directing product/lifestyle shoots

What we offer:

  • Hybrid working arrangements based from our Belfast office.
  • Meaningful role with a trusted creative voice within the company
  • The opportunity to work on products that genuinely make a difference in the lives of people around the world.
  • A collaborative, small-team environment where your work is seen and your impact is felt
